Went out wif Sis Jo jus now... Though we only went for dinner at Magic Wok in Whitesand and shop for like only one hour, but was still happy dat we managed to meet up... Come to tink bout it... The last time we went out was on her burfday... Which was THREE months ago!!! Wow... Dat was long... Its cos I was having my exams and she was having her's too... Den she is always so busy... Feel so happy to see her rise up in the kingdom of God... Always so on fire... Really pray dat I can be like b4... I wan the fire of God to fall on me!!! Though I cannot really feel God beside me, but I noe He has neva leave me... The reason why I cannot feel His presence is becox of the my decreasing growth in my spiritual life...
Let me tell a story dat I read... I believe many of you haf heard tis... But to those who neva, here goes..........
One day, a man had a dream. He dreamt he was walking along the beach with thr Lord. Across the sky flashed scenes from his life. For each scene, he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand: one belonging to him and the other to the Lord.
When the last scene of his life flashed before him, he looked back at the footprints in the sand. He noticed dat many times along the path of life there was only one set of footprints. He also noticed dat it happened at the very lowest and saddest times in his life.
This really bothered him and he questioned the Lord about it. "Lord, You said dat once I decided to follow You, You'd walk wif me all the way. But I haf noticed dat during the most troublesome times in my life, there is only one set of footprints, I dun understand why when I needed You most, You would leave me."
The Lord replied, "My son. My precious child. I love you and would neva leave you. During your times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was den dat I carried you."
GOD IS MY STRENGTH...
